Having recently returned from a retreat in a Buddhist monastery. I’m nourished by the practices of mindfulness, slow living and the delicious temple food that I enjoyed over the past week - and I can’t wait to share it with you. In this evening, I will bring in some mindfulness practices and rituals that revolve around food while we enjoy a meal in community. No experience in meditation is required, in fact this is a great opportunity to get in contact with the practice in a light way.
I will create a menu inspired in Buddhist temple food and use the opportunity to share with you a few ingredients that I brought from the monastery grounds, in my luggage.
What's included: Expect a heart-warming, 3-4 course meal with very little/no animal produce, paired with wine or tea (for non alcoholic).
The event will start at 7pm and end at 10pm promptly. It’s okay to arrive a bit late, but we might need to start without you. Location will be shared upon booking confirmation.
