sakai.cooks is a global community dining experience that brings together curious, open-minded people through culinary experiences and meaningful conversation.

Hosted in unique venues around the world, each gathering is different — a new table, a new menu, new recipes, and a new mix of guests. Inspired by my multicultural background, travels, and personal stories, every experience is designed around the Japanese concept of ichigo ichie (一期一会): a reminder that every encounter is unique and can never be repeated in exactly the same way again.

Whether you arrive alone or with a friend, you'll leave having shared stories, discovered new perspectives, and connected with people who may have started the evening as strangers.

How?

  • Fill out the form below (only once)

  • Make sure to check the box allowing communications

  • We'll review your application to ensure it's a good fit for the community

2. Receive an Invitation

  • Once approved, you'll be added to our guest list

  • You'll receive invitations to future sakai.cooks gatherings

3. Book Your Seat

  • Around two weeks before each event, you'll receive an email invitation with a link and password

  • Follow the booking link and complete payment to reserve your seat. Seats are limited and tend to sell out fast.

  • You'll then receive a confirmation email with the address and event details
