Inspired by the Japanese concept of motiyori—a potluck-style gathering where everyone brings a dish to share. You get the chance to play in the kitchen and share your creations with a larger group, and also to taste and learn about the flavours and stories of many other people.

- Dumplings: a beloved tradition of LNY and symbol of luck, prosperity, and togetherness.
- A dish from your own cultural heritage that are dumplings, or that are believed to bring good luck
