Join us on February 22 at a beautifully converted old school for a warm and festive celebration of the Lunar New Year, aligned with the mission of sakai.cooks to unite people, culture and ideas through food! Inspired by the Japanese concept of motiyori—a potluck-style gathering where everyone brings a dish to share. You get the chance to play in the kitchen and share your creations with a larger group, and also to taste and learn about the flavours and stories of many other people.

Guests are encouraged to bring one of the options:
- A traditional Lunar New Year recipe
- Dumplings: a beloved tradition of LNY and symbol of luck, prosperity, and togetherness.
- A dish from your own cultural heritage that are dumplings, or that are believed to bring good luck

Expect a vibrant gathering filled with delicious flavours, storytelling, and meaningful connections. Let’s taste, and celebrate traditions from around the globe.

Included: a taste of the world and one beverage.
