As the days get (too) warm in Amsterdam, I can’t help but transport myself to the clear waters of the Mediterranean, having a meal waterside — a table filled with many dishes to share, rich in flavour, spices and colour.
On August 12, sakai.cooks takes you on a new culinary journey: an evening of food, stories and new connections around a shared table. Through food and storytelling, I will share my inspirations for my upcoming season in Turkey with added touches of Japanese cuisine - all while celebrating the beautiful produce of our Dutch summer.
Expect a multi course menu with beverage pairing included (expect a taste of raki, the national liquor!)
